Veteran of three military branches files to run for Charlotte City Council At-Large

Charlotte, NC – July 7, 2017 – Ryan McGill officially files for the office of Charlotte City Council At-Large.

Ryan McGill is a dedicated citizen-servant with a selfless mindset and a strong military background. He has served as a diver in the U.S. Navy, an officer in the Marine Corps that served in three combat deployments in Iraq, and is currently a Blackhawk helicopter pilot in the Army National Guard.

He moved to Charlotte with a Master’s degree in Leadership from Northeastern University and holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Affairs from University of Nevada-Reno. He is currently the construction project manager at Ethic, LLC, a Charlotte-based small business, and the North Carolina Co-Director for State Chapter and Political Partner with The Truman National Security Project.
